About

Hi, I’m Claire—native Seattlite, hiker, sake enthusiast, and aspiring blogger. I believe we work best together when we share a personal connection. Here’s a bit about me and I look forward to learning more about you.

Community Outreach

Fighting for racial justice has become a focus for me after observing the widening wealth gap with the rise of big tech in Seattle

  • I sponsored five Google fundraising campaigns benefitting Solid Ground, which I’ve supported since 2007.

  • In partnership with Social Justice Fund, I led two giving workshops helping tech workers set charitable giving goals.

  • I’ve been a mentor & portfolio reviewer at the School of Visual Concepts since 2017, (a program catered to mid-career pivots)

Strengths

Of the 34 possible strengths a person can have, these are my top five.

Source: StrengthsFinder Assessment

  1. “Analytical”

I make decisions based on facts, data, and logic, which helps me find ways around obstacles and make sense of ambiguity.

  2. “Futuristic”

I consider the impacts of my decisions far into the future—having a clear sense for where I’m headed motivates me to work hard in the moment and create bite-sized milestones to achieve my goals.

  3. “Developer” (not the coding kind)

I have a knack for spotting potential in others and enjoy supporting their personal and professional growth. I help others feel valued, useful, and important by highlighting their successes.

  4. “Arranger”

I find opportunities for efficiency and enjoy figuring out how all the pieces fit together. As an Arranger, I thoroughly enjoy operating as a member of a collaborative team.

  5. “Responsibility”

Without fail, I follow through on what I commit to doing. I thrive when I’m working with others who share the same sense of responsibility.
